mIRC is a specialized program that uses the IRC capabilities and adds a nice GUI interface. mIRC has to be one of the coolest chat programs out there and it's been around for sometime. It's a lot nicer then AOL and once you get the hang of it, it is rather easy and there's nothing you can't find on mIRC. There are personal chat channels and also business and entertainment channels, you name it and it's probably there. If it's not there then you could be the first to add it, because you can add any channel you like and you can be in as many channels as you like all at one time. Although you'd have to be a speed reader to that. mIRC is so easy to use that basically all you do is pick your unique username and select which server you want to connect to and that's it. Once you connect you can go just about anywhere. It's definetly worth checking out. This page here has some mIRC Scripts and programs that I use and have worked on myself. If you think you would like to check it out and need some more info on it, follow the links below to get on your way to mIRC. |
